New Pop Tarts

Image

Have you tried the new pop tarts? One is peanut butter and the other is peanut butter with chocolate frosting. So far I have only tried the peanut butter with chocolate frosting. To me it tastes like a peanut butter smores. Or even better, a graham cracker with a melted Reese’s cup on it. The only problem I find is that I’m full after eating one and have to put the other one in a baggie for later. Maybe that’s a good thing.

It’s more like a snack you have to be in the mood for, rather than a pop tart you would be used to eating in the morning. My preferred pop tart would be the strawberry filled without the frosting.

Where’s Waldo the Peanut Butter Mystery

Locating the peanut butter in our pantry is like a game of ‘Where’s Waldo’. I know it’s in there somewhere, but where? There’s at least one jar in the pantry, I’ve made sure to not run out. But since I stand there searching for the jar for several minutes I begin to wonder if maybe I had forgotten to buy a new jar. I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, though I don’t eat them all the time, so the jar tends to get shuffled around the cupboard…a lot.

When I don’t feel like cooking something for lunch I make myself a PB&J sandwich. My grandmother can’t see how I can eat them. I simply tell her that they got me through boot camp, so they’re not that bad. I literally would choose to make myself a PB&J over the slop that was served in boot camp. The love for peanut butter runs in my family. My grandpa would put it in his ice cream; I put it on my waffles. I use to eat peanut butter on vanilla wafers as a snack…oh, that actually sounds good right about now, with a tall glass of milk.

What do you lose in your cupboard or pantry?
