‘Iron Lady’ Margaret Thatcher suffers from a stroke and dies at the age of 87. She became the first female Prime Minster of England and has remained the only woman to serve as Prime Minister; having served 3 terms from 1979-1990. She earned the name “Iron Lady” for her political and personal toughness.
Though she had brought many positive changes to England, there were many attempts on her life. She had retired from public life in 2002 after suffering a stroke. Her health began to fail from there.
She was a great and courageous woman. RIP Maggie.
