Every year one of my three youngest sisters takes me out on Veteran’s Day to eat. Sometimes I go out with my dad, who is also a US Navy veteran like me. He likes to look for the free Veteran’s Day meals that are offered on or after Veteran’s Day, which is this Sunday, 11 November.

This Monday I’ll be going out with my parents, my nephew, and my daughter to Golden Corral. They will be giving all Veteran’s and Active Duty members a free meal for their service.
